Highwaymen Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Tucson Highwaymen topped the Prescott Lynx, 7-2, in Border League action at Lynx Park. The standout performance belonged to Tucson pitcher and Laredo, Texas, native Nazir Cornell. Tucson, now 9-2, is setting the league on fire so far.

Tucson used a well-timed hit by Urbano Rivera to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Highwaymen ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Rivera said. "That's how it goes."
