Werewolves Show Nerve in Tight 3-2 Win
The Los Lunas Werewolves picked up a win at Los Lunas Grounds, taking down the Taos Artists, 3-2. Starting pitcher Brandon Brown was a big reason why. Brown got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 10 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. Brown allowed 2 runs. Taos now has a record of 3-4.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Los Lunas first baseman Phil Cosman, facing José Muñoz, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Werewolves the 3-2 win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Cosman said in his postgame press conference.
