Tucson Highwaymen starter Nazir Cornell turned in a sterling performance against the Tempe Olympians, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Cornell, now 2-0, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. The loss drops Tempe to 2-3.
