The timely hitting of Cástico Mendoza helped the Arroyo Bucaneros down the Luquillo Soles, 5-4. Mendoza was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Bucaneros. Ricardo Rosario picked up the win in relief for Arroyo, while Carlomagno Castillo took the loss. The first-place Bucaneros lifted their record to 97-40.
