Rio Grande Gets 6-2 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Rio Grande-Morovis contest at Estadio de Morovis.

Rio Grande picked up a win at Estadio de Morovis, bumping off the Morovis Titanes, 6-2. Pitcher Senén Pérez was a major reason the Cotorras emerged victorious. Rio Grande's record now stands at 60-73, placing them second in the Liga Betances El Yunque.

Hiram Sánchez, the 27-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sánchez contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Rio Grande up, 2-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Pérez told the Rio Grande News. "It's as simple as that."
