The Cayey Toritos downed the Sabana Grande Petateros, 9-7. The hitting star was catcher Manuel Silva. Silva went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Toritos. Mamerto Torres closed it out for his 7th save. Cayey goes to 47-85, Sabana Grande to 69-63.

The Toritos benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the eighth. With Eduardo Corral at bat and Cayey trailing 7-6, the Sabana Grande miscue allowed Cayey to plate 2 and take the lead, 8-7.
