Before the game, Ricardo Rosario said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Jardines de Arroyo, the Bucaneros pitcher whitewashed the Yauco Corsos 11-0.

"I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Rosario said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my changeup even when I was behind in the count."

The Arroyo starter held Yauco scoreless, giving up 3 hits while registering 3 strikeouts and issuing 1 walk.

"We didn't have very many good at-bats," Corsos manager Jaime Rivera said in a postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose."

His record for the year is 29-13 in 45 starts and Rosario has a 2.47 ERA.
