Tinajones Lose to Elefantes in Walk Off
The Cienfuegos Elefantes weathered a fine game by Camaguey shortstop Aníbal García to upend the Tinajones, 7-6, at Parque de Cienfuegos. García was 3-4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2. Cienfuegos is first in the Torneo del Oriente División de Santa Clara with a record of 50-45.

The Elefantes relied on catcher Harry Wardle for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

Wardle described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
