Fans watched the Santa Clara Leopardos and the Camaguey Tinajones fight to the finish.

Camaguey got a valiant performance from pitcher Nicolás Mayor, but it wasn't enough to beat the Santa Clara Leopardos. Santa Clara won the game, 4-3. Mayor threw 10.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Camaguey's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 12th, Martín Ruiz had a chance to be the hero. Camaguey pitcher Carlos Torres had other ideas. But with two outs, Ruiz hit a run-scoring single. The Leopardos had themselves a dramatic win.

"This place was rockin'," said Ruiz.
