Matías Villarreal kept the Santa Clara Leopardos hitters from doing any damage at Parque de Bayamo today.

Santa Clara could only muster 5 hits and take 3 walks against the left-handed Villarreal, who controlled them throughout the game as Bayamo took the contest, 13-0. Villarreal added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Villarreal told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
