A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Rio Grande Cotorras and Juncos Valencianos.

Hiram Sánchez left his imprint on the 11-7 Rio Grande win against the Juncos Valencianos. Sánchez, who is tied for 10th in the LB in home runs with 2, went 2-3 with 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times. Eleuterio Vásquez, the winning pitcher, is now 3-4. He went 8.1 innings, allowing 7 runs on 13 hits, while fanning 4 and walking 5.
