The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Carlos Rubio pitched well, but his team, the Cidra Palomas, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Comerio Guabaleros at Campo de Comerío. Luis Villanueva, the winner, goes to 23-21. He allowed 3 runs on 16 hits, with 4 walks and 2 strikeouts over 11 innings.

The Guabaleros procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Zabulón Figueroa. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"There's no quit in this team," said Guabaleros manager Santiago Ortiz.

The 'W' lifts Comerio's record to 63-68.
