A good performance from catcher Zenobio Sarabia helped the Barranquitas Proceres defeat the Naranjito Changos, 13-10. Sarabia went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Proceres. The win gives Barranquitas a record of 15-6.

Felipe Gutiérrez threw 7.1 innings allowing 8 runs for Barranquitas. The 34-year old right-handed pitcher had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Luis Oliveras. It was his 7th RBI of the season.

"Good win for us," said Gutiérrez. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
