Copper Lords Walk It Off for 41st Win of Season
Swansea right-hander Rod Paz helped his team edge Newport by the score of 2-1. Paz kept the opposing lineup in check. The last-place Copper Lords are now 41-73, the Stevedores 65-52.

The Copper Lords procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Jon Morris. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Newport skipper Diego Barrios.
