Sheffield Talons starter Ethan Davidson turned in a top-notch performance against the Coventry Motors at Talons Park. The result was a win for the Talons, 2-1. Konan Hill snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit. He's now 4-1 on the season. The Talons improve their record to 55-57 with the win over Coventry.

The Talons relied on second baseman Graham Murphy for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 12th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"We did just enough to win," Davidson said.
