The Belfast Bards stopped the Galway Harbourmasters by a score of 5-1 at Harbourmasters Grounds today, with the lion's share of the credit going to shortstop Sarpedón Arisméndez. The 26-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Arisméndez said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Arisméndez did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Harbourmasters.

"Not much that I can say," offered Galway manager Breck O'Neill. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Sarpedón Arisméndez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
