Gettman Lifts Granite to 7-2 Triumph
Conditions were not ideal but Aberdeen and Glasgow were able to put their game in the books.

No one was more impactful than Jake Gettman in the 7-2 Aberdeen win over Glasgow. Gettman, who leads the GBBO in RBI with 96, was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Aberdeen is third in the All-Team Circuit Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba with a record of 56-55.

Aberdeen grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Gettman, who is tied for 7th in the GBBO in stolen bases with 67, hit a 2-run triple. His 27th triple of the season put the Granite out in front, 4-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Gettman told the Aberdeen Today. "It's as simple as that."
