The London Fog racked up a win at Motors Field, bumping off the Coventry Motors, 3-1. Bob Richards, who started for London, pitched effectively for his team. Alan Coulson got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The win is nice, but London still has a horrible 22-79 record.

Archie Robertson contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that helped London get the win.

Richards told a London Daily News reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
