The Bangor Bishops beat the Swansea Copper Lords, 3-1, at Bishops Park. Starting pitcher Dane White was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Bangor is 4th in the All-Team Circuit Undeb Pel-fas Cymru with a record of 42-54.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 11th, Craig Rumpf had a chance to be the hero. Swansea pitcher Gus Williams had other ideas. But with two outs, Rumpf hit a 2-run home run. The Bishops had themselves a dramatic win.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," White told the Bangor Chronicle.
