The Wrexham Druids powered past the Newport Stevedores, 8-4, at Newport Grounds. Gualberto Navía was 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 times and drove in 3, to lead the charge. Wrexham now has a record of 62-32 with the win.

Navía contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Wrexham in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Navía took a curveball from Downey Kennedy and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Druids to leap in front, 2-1.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Navía.
