The Aberdeen Granite picked up a win at Granite Park, knocking off the Edinburgh Claymores, 5-4. Starting pitcher Jamie Green played a key role in the triumph. Green, now 13-20, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 4 runs. At 47-48, the Granite claim third place in the All-Team Circuit Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba.
The most significant at-bat for Aberdeen came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. Granite left fielder Shaun Turner hit a bases-clearing double to win the game.
