With center fielder Simon Evans leading the charge, the Cardiff Arcadians defeated the Bangor Bishops, 10-6, at Arcadians Field. Evans, who finished 5th in the GBBO in doubles with 29 last year, went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Morgan Pickwick picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 6 runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 14-13. With the win, the Arcadians improved to 52-43.

Douglas Davies, who is tied for 2nd in the GBBO in bases on balls with 64, helped out the Cardiff cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
