Fans watched the Inverness Thistles and the Aberdeen Granite fight to the finish.

Inverness beat Aberdeen on the strength of starter Benjamin McDougall's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Thistles are now 37-53, while the Granite fall to 46-47.

With one out in the bottom of the third, Oliver Davidson put Inverness in front, 4-3, with a run-scoring single. The Thistles went on to win the ballgame.

"It was a solid team effort," said Davidson after the game.
