The Glasgow Shipwrights topped the Perth Caber Tossers, 9-3, in Great British Base-Off action at Glasgow Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Glasgow pitcher and Aberlour, Scotland, native Matthew Johnstone. Glasgow is first in the All-Team Circuit Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba with a record of 57-32.

Making an impact for the home team was Germán Salvador. In the bottom of the fourth, the 27-year old right fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 5-3, Shipwrights.
