The Glasgow Shipwrights got a magnificent performance from pitcher Pat Bryant, who muffled the Perth offense en route to a tight 2-1 Shipwrights win at Caber Tossers Park. Bryant, now 6-4, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 4, and allowing 1 run. The win elevated the Shipwrights to 50-27.

Richard Henley, the top prospect , had a direct impact on the outcome. Henley contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Glasgow up, 2-0.
