Aldaña Lifts Shipwrights to 10-3 Triumph
The Glasgow Shipwrights trumped the Perth Caber Tossers, 10-3, at Caber Tossers Park. Glasgow left fielder Guillermo Aldaña was terrific. He was 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Glasgow starter Dane Grant was credited with the win after throwing 128 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 19-7. With the win, the Shipwrights improved to 49-27.

The Shipwrights benefited from a costly error in the top of the fifth. With Callum Irvine at bat and Glasgow leading 2-1, the Perth miscue allowed Glasgow to plate 1 and take the lead, 3-1.

Irvine told a Glasgow Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
