The Galway Harbourmasters topped the Cork Salmon, 8-4, with third baseman Fursey Johnson playing a big role. Johnson went 3 for 4 with 2 triples and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Harbourmasters in the win. The last-place Harbourmasters have a record of 29-46.

Galway took a 6-4 lead on Johnson's 8th triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which he hit off Jay Thomson in the top of the seventh, propelled Galway to the win.
