The Coventry Motors picked up a win at Motors Field, knocking off the Derby Rams, 6-5. Starting pitcher Ewan Mackenzie was a big reason why. Mackenzie went the distance for Coventry. He gave up 5 runs on 8 hits. At 47-23, the Motors claim first place in the All-Team Circuit English Baseball Championship.

In the bottom of the ninth, Andrew Baker knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring double off Derby pitcher Lucas Smith.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Mackenzie.
