Inverness and Aberdeen duked it out and the Thistles came out victorious.

The Inverness Thistles defeated the Aberdeen Granite, 8-6. Doing his part was shortstop Billy Mackinnon, who was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Inverness is last in the All-Team Circuit Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba with a record of 28-38.

Inverness first baseman Lewis Hopkins helped the Thistles go up, 5-3, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Hopkins hit a 2-run single off Aberdeen pitcher Absalón Guerrero.

"Good win for us," said Hopkins. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
