In an outstanding outing, Bangor Bishops starter Dane White tamed the Wrexham Druids with a 3-hit shutout at Bishops Park today. The Bangor hurler went the distance, finishing with 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 6-0 win.
"He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Wrexham manager Cecilio Solís. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
For the season White has logged 11 wins and 10 losses and struck out 53 batters in 186 innings while compiling a 2.66 ERA.
