Bill Hogan did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the London Fog from losing, 8-7, to the Sheffield Talons at Talons Park. The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Sheffield trailing 7-6, Alastair Owen hit a fastball from Bob Richards for a 2-run home run, giving the Talons the walk-off win.
