Ewan Mackenzie kept the Derby Rams hitters from doing any damage at Rams Park today.

Derby could only muster 4 hits and take 1 walk against the right-handed Mackenzie, who controlled them throughout the game as Coventry took the contest, 13-0. Mackenzie added 3 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Mackenzie told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
