Owen Grant was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Perth Caber Tossers. The left fielder went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Aberdeen Granite. The Granite' win now puts them at 26-26.

Jake Gettman was vital part of the Aberdeen win. He was 1-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the eighth with two out, Gettman hit a 2-run double. It made the score 6-5, in favor of the Granite.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Grant, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
