The Glasgow Shipwrights topped the Perth Caber Tossers, 6-3, in Great British Base-Off action at Glasgow Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Glasgow pitcher Matthew Johnstone. With the win, the Shipwrights have a record of 27-14.

Glasgow took a 5-3 lead on Joel Andrews's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Andrews hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Perth pitcher Jerónimo Beauchamp shaking his head.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Glasgow manager Josh Lane.
