The Belfast Bards beat the Galway Harbourmasters, 11-5. Belfast pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Carlos Sosa led the way. With this game in the books, Belfast is 29-13, Galway 18-24.

The Bards got a big hit from shortstop Sarpedón Arisméndez. In the top of the seventh, Arisméndez pounded a grand slam home run to left. His 1st home run of the season put the Bards ahead, 11-2.

"We'll savor this win," Arisméndez told the Belfast Daily News, "then get ready for the next game."
