The Galway Harbourmasters and starting pitcher Candy Dixon stifled the Belfast offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Harbourmasters Grounds. Dixon went the distance for Galway. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. The Harbourmasters now have a record of 18-22 with the win over Belfast.

With Galway leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Dixon hit a curveball from Alistair Oakley for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Harbourmasters ahead, 3-0.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Dixon. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
