Sylvester Plays Big Role in Aberdeen Win
Pitcher Eddie Sylvester was sensational for the Aberdeen Granite in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Glasgow Shipwrights. Sylvester picked up the win, and it was well-earned. The third-place Granite improved to 18-20.

Sylvester ran roughshod over the Glasgow lineup. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 9. With the victory, he goes to 6-7 on the season.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Sylvester.
