The Edinburgh Claymores overcame a fine performance by Perth shortstop Íñigo Pichardo to defeat the Caber Tossers, 8-7, at Caber Tossers Park. Pichardo went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Edinburgh has a record of 20-17, placing them second in the All-Team Circuit Lig Ball-steidhe na h-Alba.

Edinburgh used the timely hitting of Orlando Ruiz to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Claymores on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
