Liam Maguire got the win, improving to 2-9. He held the Shipwrights to 6 runs on 6 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 12. Picking up the save was Freddie McGirr, his 2nd.

With one out in the top of the ninth, Sam Innes had a game-changing hit. The Claymores first baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Rhys Hunter, making the score 7-6, Edinburgh.
