The Belfast Bards picked up a win at Dublin Grounds, taking down the Dublin Vikings, 7-2. Starting pitcher Carlos Sosa was a big reason why. Garvin Kennedy was credited with the save for Belfast, his 2nd of the season. Belfast is first in the All-Team Circuit Sraith Daorchluiche na hEireann with a record of 16-10.

Sarpedón Arisméndez provided a timely hit. The Belfast shortstop delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bards on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Ah, the sweet taste of victory," Sosa crowed after the game.
