Cork pitcher Jonathan Bowell was good. Really good. He twirled a 4-hit shutout to beat the Dublin Vikings, 4-0. The win gives Cork a record of 12-12.

Cork won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Ricard Gottmo on the mound for Dublin, center fielder Feargal Sheehan hit a dramatic grand slam home run, bringing Salmon fans to their feet.

"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said Sheehan.
