The Edinburgh Claymores and Glasgow Shipwrights obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Edinburgh left fielder Kale George contributed to his team's 7-6 win over the Glasgow Shipwrights. George, who is tied for 7th in the GBBO in runs scored with 18, went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Claymores. After losing, Glasgow is 12-10.

Edinburgh took a 6-5 lead on Sam Innes's 5th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Innes hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Glasgow pitcher Dane Grant visibly frustrated.

"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Innes after the game.
