Edinburgh got a big-time effort from pitcher Richard Wilkins, but it wasn't enough to keep the Inverness Thistles from winning the game, 7-5. Wilkins threw 9.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Inverness is now 5-9.

Inverness took a 6-5 lead on Ryan Muir's 5th triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Muir hit in the top of the 13th, left Edinburgh pitcher Freddie McGirr shaking his head.

"Exciting game to play in," said Muir. "Getting the win makes it even better."
