Kenny Excels, But Yodelers Win
Alfie Kenny did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the San Marcos Cadavers from losing, 10-7, to the New Braunfels Yodelers at Cadavers Park. Kenny was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Jamie Cunningham, 10-5, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. The win for the Yodelers lifted their record to 46-42.

New Braunfels used the clutch hitting of Robby Wilson to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Yodelers the lead, 8-7. For the game, Wilson had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Billy Riley said.
