Gulls Topple Cadavers with Late Rally
Cadavers Park was the site for Association of Eastern Texas action featuring the San Marcos Cadavers and Galveston Gulls.

The Galveston Gulls had to overcome a big game from San Marcos first baseman Humberto Rodríguez to leave Cadavers Park with a victory. And they did, winning 8-3. Rodríguez went 4 for 5 with 4 singles. With the win, the Gulls have a record of 26-25.

Jeremy Martin helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Gulls.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Martin.
