Gulls Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Galveston Gulls knocked off the Nacogdoches Roaches, 9-3, at Gulls Park. Luis González was a big reason Galveston won. The third baseman went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Gulls now have a record of 15-6.

Galveston first baseman John Vivian laid a blow when he belted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. It was his 3rd home run of the season. With it, the Gulls took a 4-0 lead.

González told the Galveston Herald: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
