The Abilene Preachers weathered an outstanding game by Amarillo third baseman Bill Joyce to topple the Horizons, 6-5. Joyce went 4-4 with 2 triples and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Simón Galván picked up the win with 7 innings of work.
