Marfa Ghost Lights starter Greg McIlmoyle pitched a strong game against the Wichita Falls Yardmen at Ghost Lights Field, leading the Ghost Lights to victory, 5-3. The win makes Marfa 7-14.

Ron Barnett contributed to the Ghost Lights cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh inning. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single, giving Marfa the lead.

McIlmoyle expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
