The Amarillo Horizons did not need a Herculean effort from starter Willie McGill, not with their offense scoring runs at will. Amarillo dispatched the Marfa Ghost Lights, 14-3. The Ghost Lights, now 5-12, continue their sluggish start.

Jocko Halligan contributed to the Horizons cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the first inning. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, giving Amarillo the lead.

"It always feels good to go the distance," McGill said.
