The Chicago Colts racked up a win at West Side Grounds 1894-1915, bumping off the Cincinnati Reds, 6-1. George Van Haltren, who started for Chicago, pitched effectively for his team. Chicago is first in the National League with a record of 77-44.

The Colts got a big at-bat from first baseman Bob Glenalvin. For the game, Glenalvin was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 27th double of the season gave Chicago a 3-0 lead.
